St Helen and St Katharine Digital Archives

St Helen and St Katharine has a rich history. The archives tell the story of the School’s past from its origins as a school for 11 pupils aged 4 to 17 in 1903, through the merger with St Katharine’s School in Wantage in 1938 to the present day. Material includes school magazines, photographs, uniform, equipment, prospectuses and event programmes.

The Digital Archive provides access to items from the collection which have been digitised and currently includes copies of all school magazines, dating back to the first St Katharine’s School magazine in 1894, the first St Helen’s School magazine in 1908, and the magazines of the merged school of St Helen and St Katharine from 1939. The entire collection of full school photographs can be viewed, including a function to zoom on individual faces. Further items available to be viewed include prospectus’, drama programmes, videos, audio clips and much more.

We will continue to upload new items including more photographs, publications and even uniform to the Digital Archive so watch this space.
